Updated On: Aug 01, 2017

Brothers & Sisters of IAFF Local F-33,

We are pleased to annouce that the Guardian Policy case involving grievances/arbitration challenging the Navy's violation of minimum staffing standards by cross-staffing at Station 11 and SCI has been settled on favorable terms!

There was a tremendous amount of hard work and patience that went into this settlement led by IAFF 16th District Vice President Jim Johnson and Local F-33 President Michael Massone. It was their steadfast and active involvement that brought this Guardian case to a successful conclusion.

Below are letters from FLRA and IAFF General Counsel that go into greater detail.
